Banknote issued between August 15, 1947 and January 26, 1950. This is undoubtedly one of the most difficult banknotes to obtain in high grade condition; in fact this note is considered exceedingly rare in any grade. Distinguished from the British India notes by its red serial number, this seldom offered note is just part of a larger collection of rare British India coins and currency available online and at our store in California. This note is free of the usual staple or pinholes and would make a wonderful acquisition for the advanced collector.
