This uncirculated 2,000 Indian rupee banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Reserve Bank of India. It is a magenta banknote that is dated 2017, bears the signature of Urjit R. Patel and the plate letter R, and measures 166 mm x 66 mm. Its obverse side shows the RBI seal, the lion capital of Ashoka pillar, and a portrait of Mahatma Gandhi. Its reverse side depicts the Swachh Bharat logo, a language panel, and the Mangalyaan (the Mars Orbiter Mission space probe). Security features include a 3-mm wide green-to-blue windowed security thread with demetalized RBI 2000 and Hindi text, a denomination registration device, and a watermark of a horizontal 2000 and 2k and a vertical RBI, Mahatma Gandhi, and electrotype 2000.
